Project: MLB Players House - Tampa

Brief:

While moonlighting as a producer for SOBOL Solutions and BeCore, I helped project manage and lead the Tampa MLB Players House pop-up experience. This was a chance to rub elbows with some of baseball’s greats ( Ryan Howard, Nick Swisher, and more… ) alongside some up-and-coming MLB prospects during spring training. Working with the MLB team, we took over an extravagant short-term rental in a Tampa suburb. I arrived on a Friday afternoon, met movers on-site, and moved every single piece of furniture out of the house in three hours (new world record… I think), to make way for a whole modern Florida rental order that matched the MLB aesthetic. We also worked with on-site branding teams to curate the visual experience, including a complete gifting lounge, full-service catering, education build-outs, photo ops, a custom hat embroiderer, and an MLB gaming lounge. Players came through with their agents to mix, mingle, and hang out. After the last player left on Sunday evening, I spent the next nine hours putting the house back in place JUST where everything was when we got there on Friday. Talk about a weekend move for the ages!
